Summary
The noise between Patch and Nora is gone. They've overcome the secrets riddled in Patch's dark past...bridged two irreconcilable worlds...faced heart-wrenching tests of betrayal, loyalty and trust...and all for a love that will transcend the boundary between heaven and earth. Armed with nothing but their absolute faith in one another, Patch and Nora enter a desperate fight to stop a villain who holds the power to shatter everything they've worked for—and their love—forever.

My Thoughts
Silence is by far the best book in the series.  There is way more action and romance, overall it was just a lot more exciting to read. Nora has amnesia which I thought was going to make the book a bit repetitive, you know meeting Patch again re-learning crap we already know about, but that wasn't the case. Nora starts to catch on to what's going on around her pretty quickly, and she was also more headstrong and insistent when it came to everyone keeping secrets, I was so used to her just going a long for the ride before she kind of surprised me with her decisions.
Getting to learn more about the Black Hand and his evil mastermind plans was totally satisfying, I found the first two books just barely touched on this issue and it it's the basis for almost everything that has happened.
Patch was his usual bad-ass, sexy, fallen angel self but he was more open and forth coming with his feelings for Nora, not as much with the "I'm leaving you to protect you" crap, although there was a little. He seems to finally be excepting the fact that they are better when they work together instead of trying to make it alone. Which as we've seen doesn't have the greatest outcome.
Silence was awesome and I'm that much more in love with the series as a whole now. It gets 5 out of 5.
